Producer Mary Aloe considered one of Hollywood’s most prolific up-and-coming female producers, Mary Aloe formed Proud Mary Entertainment, Inc., a Beverly Hills based Feature Film/Television Production and Talent Management Company, in 1999.  Proud Mary Entertainment’s main two divisions  are producing and financing slates of movies and running a 50 million dollar P & A Fund for Regent Entertainment’s Regent Releasing backed by Merrill Lynch.

The five-person company specializes in developing and producing independent and studio features, television series, network and cable event movies. Mary Aloe and Proud Mary Entertainment specialize in obtaining 100% financing for features by raising private equity, working with hedge funds, gap financing, the top tier of foreign sales companies and securing domestic distribution.

2008 into 2009 is going to be another banner year for Mary Aloe and her staff at Proud Mary Entertainment, the company has been enjoying a run with a record  slate of six completed features in just last the two years which are will all be released in 2008. .

Given this ambitious pace of production, the company is garnering a reputation as a mini-studio.  Mary Aloe and her partner Mike Dolan owner of Smithfield Street Productions & Studios are currently lining up their first slate of recently announced 6 pictures of their 12 picture alliance in Pittsburgh. The partners first major studio film with MGM Studios is "Mary, Mother of the Christ", the prequel to "The Passion of the Christ".  Aloe and Dolan own and will produce  the script written by Benedict Fitzgerald the writer of "The Passion of Christ" and they are hiring many of the original crew from the movie. The film will be shot in Jordan or Morocco in January 2009 for a Christmas 2009 release. The partners are in post-production now on “Hollywood and Wine” starring David Spade, Chris Kattan, Vivica Fox and Chaz Palaminteri.  Their next two films on the slate which they are on production on are the real life "Grand Theft Auto", "Marble City" and "Ghost In the Ring",the true life Mexican /American boxing story about  Feather Weight Champion Gabriel Ruelas.

Proud Mary Entertainment recently  raised the financing, produced and has completed production  with one of her other partners, Insight Film Studios in Vancouver, Canada, with whom Aloe produced five feature films on the following films, including: “When A Man Falls In The Forest” starring Sharon Stone and Timothy Hutton — which was selected for main competition at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival in February and main competition for America’s South By Southwest Film Festival — and “Numb”, starring Matthew Perry and Mary Steenburgen, which has been selected to have its world premiere in the Discovery section at this year's Tribeca Film Festival.

Proud Mary Entertainment is in post-production with “Battle In Seattle”, a political action drama written and directed by Stuart Townsend and starring Charlize Theron, Woody Harrelson, Ray Liotta, Channing Tatum, Andre Benjamin (Outkast), Joshua Jackson, Martin Henderson, Connie Nielsen and Michelle Rodriguez.  "Battle in Seattle" will have its world premiere at this years Toronto International Film Festival in main competition. Aloe also recently wrapped principal photography also wrapped March 23rd on “While She Was Out”, a female action thriller starring Kim Basinger and Lucas Haas, which was executive produced by Guillermo Del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth) and jointly produced by Don Murphy (Transformers).  Proud Mary Entertainment and Insight Film Studios are now in post-production on a psychological thriller, “Tortured”, starring Laurence Fishburne and James Cromwell.  With a host of other high-profile projects currently in development, 2007 promises to be an equally productive year for Proud Mary Entertainment. At present, “Cabin Fever 2” with Lions Gate has now completed its filming in North Carolina

This resounding success paved the way for Aloe’s first feature film endeavor in 2004 entitled “Downtown: A Street Tale” starring Genevieve Bujold and Domenica Scorsese with American World Pictures which had a six week run in theaters this summer.

In the television division of Proud Mary Entertainment, Room “401” was produced jointly with partners Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg premiered on MTV July 17th, 2007 to smash ratings and continued to air every Tuesday night at 10:00 PM on its first season.  Mary Aloe is also developing a bevy of reality series The Real Women of Nashville and The Real Life Coming to America with the Prince of Nigeria, “The Nancy Grace Project” with America’s most famous female prosecutor and CNN talk show host with 20th Century Fox television studios.

Aloe marked her transition to television movies in 2001 with “The Princess and the Marine”, a MOW for NBC Television. The project, chronicling the true story of a Middle Eastern Princess who fell in love with an American Marine, generated so much excitement it incited the second biggest bidding war in television history 'see Mary Aloe'. It then became the highest rated Movie of the Week that year for NBC. Aloe executive produced this made for TV movie with Columbia Tri-Star.

Proud Mary Entertainment is also co-owner of the Pritcher Management Company, a management firm located in Beverly Hills, CA. The final division that makes up the five person team is the P.R. division in which their clients include corporate companies currently sponsored by Staples, Mattel and Xerox.

Aloe has also affiliated herself with the top organizations in the entertainment industry. She is a member of the following guilds: WEN (Women's Entertainment Network), American Federation of Women in Television and Radio, CAUCUS, Women in Film, The Producers Guild of America, Power UP! and the First Weekenders Club.

Jay Jacobs joined the development team of Proud Mary Entertainment in August of 2007 reviewing and covering all incoming projects. Jay Jacobs currently supervises the development team and directly assists President Mary Aloe with all stages of feature film and television production including budgeting, financing, casting, film festivals as well as foreign and domestic distribution deals.

Jude Hinojosa joined the development team of Proud Mary Entertainment in March of 2006. Jude’s main focus is to cover incoming scripts and develop potential future projects for the company. Also a writer, Jude drives towards creating stories and characters that will change entertainment: revolutionizing the standards of race and creativity, i.e. bringing Hollywood closer to art without restrictions.

His involvement in acting and writing throughout the community flourished his passion for the arts, thus sending him to Los Angeles’ American Musical and Dramatic Academy. During his study, Jude's one-act play was chosen for performance- the first time AMDA has accepted original student work.

Mary Queen Robinson joined the development team of Proud Mary Entertainment in March of 2006. Mary’s main focus is to cover incoming scripts and develop potential future projects for the company. As part of the development team, Mary offers her precise gift in seeking the highest quality material in raw form.

Mary began her studies at Columbia College Chicago and later graduated from the American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles, California. Her background in film, theater, and acting sparked an efficient taste in play and screen writing. With a unique vision for her own personal works, she's had the chance to produce independent projects throughout the Los Angeles and Chicago area.

John has been working with Proud Mary Entertainment’s Public Relations division since 2004. John Forrester is a highly esteemed media strategist and public relations executive. Mr. Forrester possesses a deep understanding of business and consumer media. John has successfully negotiated dozens of joint ventures and media partnerships on behalf of our clients. John Forrester assists with all of the corporate sponsors within the PR division for of our clients that include Staples, Mattel and Xerox.

John regularly secures voluminous media placements in the top press outlets throughout the country, and even internationally. Known for highly personalized service and attention to detail, John Forrester creates tremendous value and advantages for clients through thoughtful and strategic “Storytelling for the 21st Century.”

Henry Nutter started working in Proud Mary Entertainment’s Public Relations division in 2005. Living and working in Wales, UK, Henry works as the International Technical arm of the Company. Henry's main area of expertise is Web Application Programming with PHP/MySQL, and Web design. At Proud Mary Entertainment, Henry believes in "Utilizing technology to our largest advantage", and maximizes online PR outreach. In addition to online outreach, Henry implements all of the HTML blasts and press releases for the PR division as well as for the production division.

Henry grew up on the Isle of Anglesey, and as a Pocket PC enthusiast became known in the industry for his work on the "PocketThemes.com" website. He then became part of the "Pocket PC Summit" Event team, first designing an online Conference Planning System for Attendees, later becoming involved with event registration and production.

Pritcher’s clients in the past have included everyone from Eva Mendes to Michael Jai White.

Our current roster of clients have had a banner year with starring or co-starring roles on “C.S.I. Miami”, C.S.I., “Supernatural”, NYPD Blue”, “Smallville”, “Commander in Chief”, “Las Vegas”, “Veronica Mars”, “Seventh Heaven” and many studio and independent features.
